SHE Teams

SHE Teams stands for Safety, Health and Environment. SHE Teams is a division of Telangana Police for enhanced safety and security of women. They also work to prevent child marriages in Telangana State. The teams work in small groups to arrest eve teasers, stalkers and harassers. They operate mainly in busy public areas in Hyderabad. They respond to complaints delivered by WhatsApp and through social media like Facebook, Twitter etc. and dialing through 100.

SHE Teams will now take up the responsibility of rescuing women victims from online harassment and fraud, too.SHE Teams wing to look into online offences against women, too. Currently, the online harassment and fraud cases are handled by cybercrime wing of respective commissionerates.

She teams are a boon to the women in the State who can get timely police help and go about their work without fear.
